Why Hire a DACFL Attorney
The Alliance is a group of limited membership, and has strict criteria for admission. These criteria involve extensive experience and training in both family law, as evidenced by board certification in family law of each of its members by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and collaborative practice. Our practice group quickly took the lead in promoting this new model across Texas, and became a leader in the field outside of Texas. Our members are frequent speakers and trainers in the field, and have served in leadership roles at the state level with the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas, and have taught Collaborative Law internationally. Family Law and Collaborative Law require specialized skills. The members of the Alliance are highly regarded for their knowledge and experience in family law, as well as for their high level of training in the area of Collaborative Law.
Collaborative Law takes a high degree of skill and trust among the lawyers. It is beneficial for clients to retain Collaborative Lawyers from our practice group because the members have worked with each other for years on litigation cases, and there is a high degree of trust and respect among the membership. The group schedules retreats and other activities that foster team building. The high degree of training increases the possibility of creating settlements that are valuable to the clients.
